Role Overview
The Customer Order Administrator role is centered on managing customer orders from initial validation through to revenue recognition and billing. The position calls for strong commercial judgment and practical industry understanding to ensure all orders are handled in line with internal policies, procedures, KPIs, and service commitments.
Location
This is an on-site position based in Letterkenny, County Donegal or Burnfoot, County Donegal, with a five-day-per-week onsite working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- Check customer order forms for completeness and accuracy before processing.
- Enter and manage sales orders in the Oracle business system.
- Enter and manage purchase orders in Oracle and related company systems.
- Coordinate delivery dates, communicate updates, and track any schedule changes.
- Support the billing cycle, including revenue processing, invoicing, and claims handling.
- Assist with project-related coordination for customers as needed.
- Act as the main point of contact for assigned customer projects, working with internal teams to resolve issues and maintain service quality.
Experience and Skills Required
The role typically requires 1 to 2+ years of relevant background in order administration, customer service, order processing, logistics, supply chain, or a related field. Candidates should be comfortable working across several computer systems at the same time and entering data accurately into business applications. Prior experience handling sales orders, purchase orders, or customer records in an ERP environment is strongly preferred.
Language Requirement
Advanced English is required. Knowledge of any additional language is considered an advantage.
