About the company

The organization’s purpose is to entertain audiences around the world, combining creative thinking, instinct, and modern technology to shape the next era of storytelling and global fan engagement.

The team

The Cue Sheets and Music Administration group sits within the Music Business & Legal function under Data, Tech, and Rights. The team manages music usage across all content globally, supports accurate cue sheet reporting, helps meet CMO obligations, and works with productions, internal partners, and a publishing administrator to ensure cue sheets are created, delivered, and maintained on time so royalties can be distributed correctly. The team also protects the quality of music data and supports the ongoing expansion of the music catalog.

The role

This position focuses on key parts of cue sheet and music administration workflows, offering exposure to the full music business process. The coordinator will act as a cue sheet specialist, understanding how music is used in production and how details such as synchronization licenses, publishing splits, IPI numbers, and PRO information affect reporting. The role calls for strong cue sheet preparation and review skills, careful review of composer agreements and sync licenses, and the ability to align music supervisors, editors, and other production stakeholders so the correct information is delivered. Precision matters in this role, and the successful candidate will help improve cue sheet processes, contribute to innovation, and support global strategy for cue sheet administration and delivery. The work also requires flexibility, cross-regional coordination, and the ability to influence adoption through clear communication.

Key responsibilities

  • Coach and support production teams on best practices for cue sheet reporting so submissions are complete, accurate, and delivered on schedule.
  • Explain region-specific reporting expectations and help partners work through local requirements while maintaining global compliance.
  • Examine, process, and share cue sheets for Originals programming, including updating existing sheets, drafting new ones when needed, and keeping the cue sheet database current and improved.
  • Work with the publishing administrator on registration, administration, and ongoing management of the global music catalog, including resolving claims, answering inquiries, and preserving rights data accuracy.
  • Contribute to additional projects tied to the company’s music needs.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience handling music cue sheets, ideally within the music department of a film/TV studio, television network, or production company; familiarity with music clearance for recordings and publishing is an added advantage.
  • Strong command of one or more cue sheet tools such as RapidCue, Cuetrak, or Soundmouse, along with openness to learning other platforms and file formats.
  • Excellent organization and an exceptionally high level of attention to detail.
  • Clear, concise communication skills and strong interpersonal ability.
  • Comfort working independently, proactively, and reliably across multiple priorities and short deadlines in a fast-moving production setting.
  • Highly collaborative mindset with curiosity and the ability to adapt well to change and new ideas.
  • Quick thinker who can shift direction, stay practical, and focus on solutions.
  • Willingness to take on extra assignments and work on topics beyond the immediate area of expertise.
  • Technically comfortable with Gmail and Google Workspace, plus a solid understanding of cloud-based document and database systems in a modern workplace.

Compensation

The compensation model is hourly only, with no bonus component. Employees can choose how much of their compensation is allocated between hourly pay and stock options each year. The stated hourly pay range is $40.87 to $57.69.

Benefits

The benefits package includes health plans, mental health support, a 401(k) retirement plan with employer match, a stock option program, disability coverage, health savings and flexible spending accounts, family-forming benefits, and life and serious injury benefits. Paid leave programs are also available. Full-time hourly employees earn 35 days of paid time off each year for vacation, holidays, and sick leave. Full-time salaried employees receive flexible time off immediately.

Additional information

The company values inclusion and aims to provide a thoughtful interview experience. Candidates who need an accommodation or adjustment for a disability or another reason during the hiring process can request support through their recruiting contact.
