This opportunity is offered through a hiring partner, which will handle applications and the next stages of the process. The employer is seeking a CRM Team Lead located in Germany.
The position blends people leadership, hands-on CRM delivery, and customer experience innovation. You will guide a team that creates and executes data-led CRM campaigns across several channels, with a strong focus on Braze. In addition to leading people, you will remain technically involved to make sure campaigns are delivered accurately, quickly, and in line with business goals. The role involves close collaboration with strategy, data, and client teams to turn concepts into scalable customer journeys. It is a fast-moving agency setting that requires operational leadership, deep CRM knowledge, and the ability to raise campaign quality while supporting client outcomes.
What you will do
- Manage and coach a CRM team of up to 10 consultants, maintaining strong delivery quality, speed, and operational standards.
- Own the full lifecycle of CRM campaign delivery across multiple channels in the Braze platform.
- Build, set up, and fine-tune CRM journeys, automations, and campaigns within Braze.
- Work closely with strategy and client-facing colleagues to make sure campaign plans are executed as intended.
- Run quality checks to ensure accuracy in campaign logic, segmentation, integrations, and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their goals and shape them into effective CRM solutions.
- Promote strong practices in segmentation, personalization, and campaign optimisation.
- Improve CRM operations by identifying better processes and automation opportunities.
What you need
- At least 10 years of experience in CRM, customer engagement, or digital marketing.
- At least 4 years in a leadership capacity such as CRM Team Lead, Head of CRM, or a similar role managing delivery teams.
- Minimum 2 years of practical Braze experience covering campaign setup, segmentation, and automation.
- Solid understanding of CRM strategy, lifecycle marketing, and digital customer experience.
- Experience working with relational data structures and segmentation logic for personalised campaigns.
- Careful attention to detail, including QA of campaigns and technical implementations.
- Demonstrated success handling multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced agency or consultancy environment.
- Strong communication and people skills, with client-facing experience.
- A proactive, collaborative leadership style that motivates teams by example.
- Advanced English ability at C1 level or above, both written and spoken.
