About the role

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is hiring a Cleaner to support high standards of cleanliness and service at White Rose Shopping Centre in Leeds. The role is permanent, based on an external cleaning operative contract, and requires 37.5 hours of work per week. Pay is £13.45 per hour.

The position involves keeping spaces clean and safe, following agreed service levels and cleaning timetables, and working both independently and as part of a team. A full UK driving licence is essential in line with Mitie’s fleet policy.

Key responsibilities

• Keep cleaning equipment clean, maintained, and safe to use.
• Work to agreed service level expectations and complete cleaning tasks according to schedule.
• Build familiarity with the assigned cleaning area, including the equipment and chemicals used there.
• Follow health and safety rules and complete any mandatory training.
• Provide reliable customer service while collaborating effectively with colleagues or working alone.
