What you may work on

• Review AI-produced auto insurance claim decisions for correctness, proper coverage interpretation, and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Create FNOL scenarios that include intentional conflicts, misleading documents, and expired paperwork to challenge the agent’s resilience.
• Develop and evaluate fraud-detection cases using structured reason codes, such as late reporting, a recently purchased policy, or inconsistent damage, for SIU escalation.
• Prepare subrogation test cases by applying negligence rules that vary by state, including comparative and contributory frameworks, and judge the chance of recovery.
• Record test cases in a clear format with the correct answer, policy references, and payout calculations.

Profile sought

This role is best suited to professionals with experience in insurance claims, legal work, or broader financial services who are comfortable taking part in part-time, non-permanent projects.

• A degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a closely related discipline is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in insurance, claims, legal, or financial services is expected.
• Recent or current hands-on work in claims handling, adjusting, or a similar function is important.
• Knowledge of auto insurance coverage decisions, state-by-state negligence rules, and adjuster authority-limit practices is valuable.
• Professional credentials such as AIC, CPCU, CIFI, or SCLA are considered a plus, but they are not mandatory if practical experience is strong.
• Strong written English skills at C1 level or above are required.

Working time

Compensation

Contributors on this project can earn up to the equivalent of USD 60 per hour, depending on expertise and working pace. Pay levels may differ across other projects, based on scope, complexity, and the level of skill required.
