Job description
About the Role
Berlin International College is looking for a working student who enjoys social media, content production, and digital marketing, while also being willing to support everyday office operations when needed. The role is based at the college’s preparatory campus in Treptower Park, with a view of the River Spree, and is part of a team that helps international students navigate the German higher education system.
What You Will Do
- Develop engaging content for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other social platforms.
- Create presentation decks, visual assets, and promotional material in Canva.
- Produce and edit short videos and reels with CapCut.
- Use AI-based content tools to draft, improve, and optimize marketing materials.
- Support photo and video shoots on campus and at events.
- Monitor current social media trends and bring forward new content concepts.
- Contribute to marketing initiatives and other ad hoc projects as needed.
- Help with general office administration and daily operational tasks.
- Assist in planning events, meetings, and promotional activities.
What We’re Looking For
You should be a currently enrolled university student in Germany with a strong interest in social media, digital marketing, and storytelling. Hands-on support, reliability, and a proactive attitude are important, along with the ability to balance creative work and operational responsibilities. Experience using Canva and CapCut is expected, and familiarity with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Canva AI, or similar platforms will be an advantage. You should feel comfortable working in English; German and other languages are helpful but not required.
Benefits
- A diverse position that combines creativity, marketing, and business operations.
- Exposure to an international workplace with colleagues and students from many countries.
- Room to share and implement your own ideas.
- Flexible hours designed to accommodate your studies.
- A supportive team that values initiative and creative input.
Application
Applicants are asked to share a CV, a brief motivation note, and, if available, a portfolio or links to social media accounts or projects they have worked on.
