Job Summary
This remote contract opportunity is centered on high-level Word and PDF expertise to support the development of next-generation AI systems. The work involves contributing reliable, real-world document knowledge that helps improve how models learn, reason, and perform. Prior AI experience is not necessary; the focus is on strong domain expertise with documents.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, edit, and format documents in Word and PDF to match client requirements and industry standards.
- Handle tracked edits, annotations, and version control across lengthy and complex files.
- Build, edit, and complete interactive forms and templates for different professional use cases.
- Extract and combine information accurately from Word and PDF files.
- Work with cross-functional teams to provide precise, timely, and confidential document support.
- Apply document processes for projects involving legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
- Guide stakeholders on best practices and advanced features in Word and PDF tools.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on professional experience working extensively with Word and PDF tools.
- Strong capability in document formatting, revision tracking, markup, and review workflows.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills with very strong attention to detail.
- Master’s, PhD, or JD qualification in a relevant field such as law, healthcare, academia, public policy, or finance.
- Experience supporting Fortune 500 clients or operating in complex, regulated environments.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Comfort working independently in a remote, deadline-focused setting and adapting quickly to changing needs.
- Preferred background includes legal, healthcare administration, academic research, government consulting, or finance/real estate operations.
- Advanced knowledge of PDF capabilities such as form fields, digital signatures, and secure document handling is an advantage.
- A portfolio showing impactful Word and PDF work is preferred.
