Job description

Role overview

YO IT Consulting is seeking remote Word and PDF specialists to support the training of next-generation AI systems. This contract role is centered on turning real-world document expertise into high-quality input that helps models improve their reasoning and output quality. Prior AI experience is not required; strong hands-on knowledge of Word and PDF workflows is the key requirement.

What you will do

  • Review, edit, and format documents in Word and PDF so they meet client and industry standards.
  • Handle tracked changes, comments, and version control across large and intricate files.
  • Build, edit, and complete dynamic forms and templates for a range of professional use cases.
  • Extract information accurately from Word and PDF files and organize it into usable outputs.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver precise document solutions on time while protecting confidentiality.
  • Apply document workflows for legal, regulatory, and compliance-focused work.
  • Guide stakeholders on advanced Word and PDF features and best practices.

Experience and qualifications

Applicants should have at least 3 years of intensive professional experience using Word and PDF tools. Strong capability in formatting, review processes, tracked changes, and markup is essential, along with excellent written and spoken communication skills and a sharp eye for detail. The role calls for a Master’s degree, PhD, or JD in a relevant discipline such as law, healthcare, academia, public policy, or finance. Experience supporting Fortune 500 clients or similarly regulated, high-complexity environments is important. Candidates must be able to work independently in a remote, deadline-oriented setting and handle sensitive information responsibly.

Preferred background

Experience in specialist environments such as legal practice, healthcare administration, academic research, government consulting, or finance and real estate operations is an advantage. Advanced knowledge of PDF tools including form fields, digital signatures, and secure document handling is preferred, and a portfolio showing strong Word and PDF project work is a plus.

Additional information

This role is designed for subject-matter experts whose document skills can be used to support AI training. The work is fully remote and structured as a contract engagement.
