About the role
Skinnydip London is expanding its wholesale function and is seeking a motivated Account Executive to support growth across the United States. This is a fully remote position open to candidates anywhere in the US. The ideal hire will have experience in a fast-moving business and a strong track record of managing and developing retail accounts.
In this position, you will work with major US retailers to strengthen current partnerships and create new commercial opportunities for the brand. The role is well suited to someone who enjoys building relationships, working across time zones, and contributing to the growth of a lifestyle brand in a competitive market.
Key responsibilities
You will oversee existing retail partnerships, introduce seasonal ranges, pursue additional business with current accounts, and identify opportunities for growth. The role also includes developing new wholesale business, with a particular focus on licensing opportunities.
Additional responsibilities include understanding production timelines and critical path management, coordinating delivery solutions that align with customer needs, and reporting progress clearly to internal teams and UK-based leadership. You will also need to maintain strong relationships with suppliers in the Far East, India, and Vietnam, while working closely with merchandising, production, and design teams in the UK to keep orders on track and resolve issues quickly.
Required experience and skills
The role calls for at least 4 years of experience in a similar Account Executive, Account Manager, or Sales position, ideally within fashion, apparel, accessories, or consumer goods. A background in licensing, familiarity with major US retailers, and a solid understanding of the order-to-invoice process will be especially valuable.
You should be highly organized, detail-oriented, confident working under pressure, and skilled in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and PowerPoint. Strong communication, problem-solving, and self-management abilities are important, as is comfort working independently in a remote setting while collaborating across UK and US time zones.
