Responsibilities
- Handle tracking requests coming from the SEA, SEO, and social media teams
- Independently manage your own tracking projects
- Set up and configure tags, triggers, and variables in Google Tag Manager
- Work mainly on tracking implementations for Google Ads, GA4, Microsoft Ads, and Meta Ads
- Build server-side tracking setups
- Occasionally set up tracking in E-Tracker, Matomo, or similar tools
- Support the integration of tracking codes for client projects
- Review existing tracking setups on a regular basis
- Troubleshoot issues and resolve technical problems
- Communicate directly with clients
- Help move Hanseranking’s tracking and web analytics capabilities to the next level
Requirements
- Solid knowledge and at least one year of professional experience in web analytics and tracking
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager; experience with Matomo and E-Tracker is helpful but not mandatory
- Confident implementation of tracking codes in common CMS and CMP systems
- Practical experience with server-side tracking
- Very good German skills at C1 level
- Nice to have: knowledge of JavaScript and experience working with APIs such as CAPI, RESTful, SOAP, and JSON
- Ability to map and visualize customer journeys
- Interest in current developments in tracking technology
- Customer-focused communication skills
- Independent, structured, and well-organized way of working
