About the Company
Huron Tractor is a major John Deere partner in Canada, operating eleven locations across Southern Ontario. The business supports a wide customer base that includes farms, commercial operations, and homeowners, backed by one of the country’s largest selections of machines and parts.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Service Manager, this position focuses on cleaning, detailing, and preparing equipment to a high standard.
Key Duties
- Prepare brand-new equipment for customer delivery by cleaning and detailing it.
- Wash and detail pre-owned equipment.
- Use a pressure washer for long stretches as part of daily work.
- Assist with upkeep of the facility and yard when needed.
- Move and deliver equipment as required.
Experience and Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role is required.
- Background with agricultural, turf, or construction equipment is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license must be held and maintained, along with a clean driving record.
- An A Restricted license would be considered an advantage.
- The ability to work independently with limited supervision is important.
- Flexibility to work scheduled shifts and extended hours is necessary.
- The role requires the physical ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) on a regular basis.
Compensation
The pay range for this role is $23 to $27 per hour. Placement within that range depends on skills, experience, and qualifications, and applicants with different levels of experience may be considered outside the stated range.
