Role overview
This full-time position is based at the Maidstone dealership on Cuxton Rd, Maidstone ME15 9YF. It is a manufacturer-owned dealership opportunity and forms part of the aftersales team.

What the role involves
As Warranty Administrator, you will play an important leadership and support role within the warranty function. The position calls for day-to-day guidance, training, and mentoring of the team, along with close coordination with management and other departments.
- Track and report on warranty team performance on a regular basis.
- Hold routine check-ins with the warranty team to spot issues and agree actions.
- Keep the line manager informed about team performance and any concerns.
- Process and invoice warranty claims as part of the warranty administration team.
- Ensure job cards meet PSA quality standards.
- Follow company policies and procedures consistently.
- Review claims to confirm they are paid correctly.
- Maintain accurate paperwork and filing to support audits.
- Conduct periodic audits to confirm warranty compliance.
- Manage warranty debtors and work with the team to resolve issues across dealerships.
- Make sure parts are returned when required and inform the relevant dealership.
- Handle warranty parts returns promptly and keep clear documentation.
- Coach technicians and customer advisors on processes and procedures.
- Check that job cards are completed accurately.
- Escalate process or quality issues to the Aftersales Manager.
- Meet regularly with the Aftersales Manager to improve warranty quality and results.
- Support the Finance team when needed, as requested by the Financial Controller.
- Register all warranty policies.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a Warranty Administrator role. Strong communication skills are essential, and you should feel comfortable speaking with a wide range of people. Experience using a Dealer Management System is required, with Autoline considered an advantage. You should also be confident using Outlook, Word, and Excel. Previous team management or supervisory experience would be beneficial.
