Job description

Overview

Wajax is looking for a Warranty Administrator to oversee the day-to-day management of warranty programs and ensure they are applied consistently and correctly. This position is responsible for keeping warranty records current, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting the branch with reliable claim administration.

Key responsibilities

  • Examine and submit warranty claims, including evaluating whether non-warranty parts or labor should be included for fully or partially eligible repairs.
  • Work closely with supplier contacts and support teams to confirm repair eligibility under warranty.
  • Keep warranty parts documentation up to date, follow supplier rules for retaining used parts, and coordinate warranty returns to the correct suppliers.
  • Monitor warranty claim reports and follow up on overdue claims to help ensure they are paid and resolved properly.
  • Maintain accurate accounting and record management for warranty programs by reviewing claims and branch submissions.
  • Complete claims promptly while following company procedures and internal standards.
  • Communicate clearly in both written and verbal form to prepare and provide the documentation needed for warranty submissions.
  • Use sound judgement and product knowledge to make timely decisions about claim eligibility.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate has experience handling service or warranty administration in an industrial environment. Familiarity with warranty claim processing is important, along with experience in heavy equipment or truck and coach sectors. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required, especially Excel and Word.
