Job description
The opportunity
We are hiring a Warehouse Manager to take full ownership of a multi-temperature, ISO 22000-certified food facility in Dubai. This is a practical, high-visibility leadership position where you will be expected to lead from the front and safeguard service quality, order precision, and food safety while the business handles its Q4 peak and fully integrates a new production site.
Key responsibilities
You will oversee daily warehouse execution across inbound receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch for all sales channels, including HORECA, retail, eCommerce, and wholesale. The role calls for close control of service levels, fill rate, OTIF performance, and order accuracy during both routine operations and demand spikes.
You will also be responsible for maintaining strict cold-chain and food safety discipline across frozen, chilled, and ambient areas, with full adherence to SOPs, health and safety requirements, ISO 22000, and HACCP practices such as temperature recording, traceability, and allergen control.
Inventory discipline is a major part of the role. You will manage cycle counts, stock reconciliation, FIFO/FEFO rotation, and near-expiry handling to reduce shrinkage and stock loss. In addition, you will lead, schedule, coach, and support a diverse team of more than 20 supervisors, controllers, pickers, packers, and forklift operators while balancing staffing needs, overtime, and labour efficiency.
A strong analytical approach is essential. You will monitor operational KPIs such as cost per order, pick/pack productivity, and dock-to-stock performance, identify root causes, and use the data to drive continuous improvement rather than simply reporting numbers.
What success looks like
This role is best suited to someone who enjoys being physically present on the warehouse floor, thrives in a fast-moving food environment, and can combine hands-on supervision with structured problem-solving, strong systems knowledge, and consistent team leadership.
Requirements
The ideal candidate brings at least 5 years of warehouse management experience, preferably in Food & Beverage or FMCG operations. You should have strong working knowledge of WMS platforms, inventory systems, and multi-temperature or cold-chain environments, along with practical experience applying food safety standards such as ISO 22000 and HACCP.
You must have a proven track record of leading, motivating, and rostering teams of 20 or more operational staff. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are important, as is confidence in using operational data to improve performance. Comfort with AI tools is also highly valued; hands-on experience using AI copilots in daily work is considered a strong advantage.
A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or a related discipline is preferred, although equivalent hands-on experience may also be accepted.
