Job description

About OneSkin

Join OneSkin, a pioneering longevity company dedicated to helping individuals age as the best version of themselves. Our mission is to transform the perception of aging through science-backed, clinically effective products. Founded by four PhDs and entrepreneurs, we focus on optimizing skin and body health by targeting the root causes of aging with a proprietary peptide that reduces senescent cells. We are committed to continuous innovation and empowering our team and customers to embrace a 'growing limitless' journey.

About The Role

OneSkin is seeking an experienced VP of Operations to serve as the operational backbone for our transition from a high-growth DTC brand to a multi-channel, science-led longevity company. This is a unique opportunity to build the infrastructure necessary for scaling the business to $150M and beyond. You will oversee all operational aspects, including supply chain, fulfillment, ERP systems, planning, and vendor management, while fostering cross-functional operational excellence. This role requires a visionary leader who is also hands-on and enjoys detailed execution. You will report directly to the CEO.

What You'll Do

  • Supply Chain & Fulfillment: Develop and manage end-to-end supply chain strategies, encompassing sourcing, manufacturing, inventory planning, and third-party logistics (3PL) partner oversight. Establish scalable and resilient processes for DTC, retail (including prestige channels like Sephora), and international markets. Ensure cost efficiency, quality standards, and timely delivery. Cultivate strong, accountable partnerships with vendors and co-manufacturers.
  • ERP & Systems: Support the ongoing implementation and adoption of an ERP system, driving cross-functional change management. Uphold data integrity and enhance operational visibility across inventory, orders, and financial data. Continuously refine systems and workflows to streamline operations and support scalability.
  • Planning & Financial Operations: Lead demand planning, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), and inventory forecasting across all sales channels. Collaborate with the Finance department on Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), operational budgets, and margin optimization. Develop and monitor key operational performance indicators (KPIs) to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Team & Cross-Functional Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing operations team. Foster a culture of hiring, development, and retention of top talent. Partner effectively with Marketing, Finance, Product, and Science teams to align operational capabilities with business objectives. Act as a key strategic advisor to the CEO, CFO, and senior leadership team.

Who You Are

  • A proactive, mission-driven operator with a proven ability to execute and lead by example. You are a builder who takes initiative.
  • Experienced in scaling consumer companies through the $150M+ revenue stage, with a deep understanding of the associated challenges.
  • A hands-on leader capable of managing both strategic oversight and detailed operational tasks.
  • Possesses in-depth knowledge of supply chains within the beauty, wellness, or CPG sectors, ideally with an established industry network.
  • A skilled relationship builder, fostering trust through transparency and consistent follow-through with partners and internal teams.
  • Enthusiastic about building new systems and processes, with prior experience in ERP implementation and managing organizational change.
  • Analytically adept, with a keen sense for strategic resource allocation.
  • Combines humility with confident leadership, driven by a desire to improve lives through enhanced longevity.

What You Bring

  • Over 10 years of progressive operations experience, with substantial time in a senior leadership capacity at a DTC, beauty, wellness, or CPG company.
  • Proven track record of scaling a company to over $150 million in revenue, including expertise in supply chain, fulfillment, and systems infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience implementing NetSuite ERP in a high-growth setting.
  • Solid understanding of operational requirements for retail and wholesale, with a preference for experience with partners like Sephora.
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading effective teams in dynamic, resource-limited environments.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
  • Preference for candidates based on the West Coast; remote candidates must be willing to travel to San Francisco periodically.
