Job description
About the Role
Darrow is a fast-scaling legal technology company built around a clear mission: identifying unlawful conduct and helping affected people obtain justice. Established in 2020 in Tel Aviv, the company has developed an intelligence platform that surfaces serious violations across areas such as privacy and data breaches, consumer protection, securities and financial fraud, environmental issues, and employment matters. The New York office is hiring a VP of Marketing to lead the organization’s global marketing function.
This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who wants their ideas to shape strategy and create meaningful results. You will guide marketing across brand, content, events, growth, and product marketing while helping build and optimize a strong, collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the leadership team to translate company objectives into a clear marketing vision and a practical strategic roadmap.
- Own the design and execution of marketing plans and initiatives that improve market visibility, strengthen client engagement, and support business growth.
- Drive the evolution of growth marketing and performance marketing programs.
- Work with product and business teams to define product positioning, messaging, launch plans, and go-to-market strategy.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the global marketing team while fostering a creative and cooperative culture.
- Coordinate the marketing budget, external freelancers, and public relations partners across regions.
- Monitor key metrics and research tools, analyze campaign and market trends, and convert findings into actionable recommendations for leadership.
- Represent the company at conferences and industry events, including preparation of compelling presentation materials and collateral such as datasheets, whitepapers, and videos.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- 10–12 years of marketing leadership experience, ideally in a startup or other fast-growth environment.
- Broad strategic experience across consumer insights, brand building, product marketing, planning, portfolio management, promotions, digital and social marketing, public relations, and advertising.
- Hands-on experience launching new products in complex, multi-product organizations.
- Strong command of digital marketing strategy and related platforms.
- A proven record of creating and delivering effective marketing strategies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to delegate effectively and collaborate across functions.
- Strong budget planning and management capability.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Asana, or Trello for product and project coordination.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Marketo, or similar tools.
- Working knowledge of analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Mixpanel.
- Understanding of CRM systems such as Salesforce or equivalent platforms.
Benefits and Compensation
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and their dependents.
- $150 weekly Grubhub credit for lunches.
- Unlimited paid time off.
- Hybrid working arrangement with three onsite days each week.
- Eligibility for a bonus incentive plan and stock options, giving employees a direct interest in the company’s success.
- Base salary range: $210,000 to $250,000, with final compensation influenced by experience, skills, and office location.
- The salary range may be adjusted if the candidate’s experience is below the stated requirements.
