Job description

Role Overview

This is a senior executive position for a leader who can steer large, enterprise-wide transformation efforts across operations. The role is based in the United States and is posted on behalf of a partner organization that will handle applications and all subsequent hiring steps.

The selected leader will define and deliver strategic initiatives that strengthen efficiency, scalability, and overall business performance. A major part of the role is working closely with executive stakeholders to convert strategic priorities into practical transformation programs with measurable impact.

You will manage a high-performing team focused on evaluating business processes, building business cases, and executing improvement work. The position also calls for strong alignment between business and technology groups so that change is implemented smoothly and adopted effectively.

In addition, this role helps build a culture centered on continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability. It suits a strategic executive who performs well in complex settings and is driven by tangible enterprise results.

Key Accountabilities

  • Work with senior leaders to shape and execute transformation strategies that support company-wide objectives.
  • Spot, assess, and rank improvement opportunities across functions to increase efficiency, lower cost, and enhance the user or employee experience.
  • Develop strong business cases backed by financial models, return-on-investment analysis, and risk evaluation.
  • Lead and coach a team of Business Process Analysts to ensure effective delivery of process improvement work.
  • Foster collaboration between business teams and IT to design and roll out scalable solutions.
  • Set and encourage standards for process mapping, operational excellence, and ongoing improvement.
  • Drive change management activities so transformation efforts are successfully adopted and sustained.
  • Track initiative outcomes and present executive-level updates on progress, impact, and value created.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in strategy, operations, transformation, or enterprise improvement roles.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading and developing teams in complex organizational environments.
  • Strong capability in business case preparation, financial analysis, and evidence-based decision-making.
  • Proven experience taking cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution and adoption.
  • Deep familiarity with process improvement approaches such as Lean, Six Sigma, or comparable methods.
  • Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Experience working closely with IT teams to deliver business and technology solutions.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Preferred background: mortgage servicing or financial services experience.
