Role Overview

StepsAI is hiring a Video Editor / Motion Graphics Designer for its Hyderabad office. This is a full-time, paid position with an expected monthly pay range of INR 30,000 to INR 50,000. The company is looking for someone with around 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.

The brand is being built to stand out across social media and content channels, including Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, reels, advertisements, product videos, founder-led content, customer stories, launch assets, and other high-retention formats.

What the Role Involves

This position is for a creative editor who can transform scripts, product screen captures, founder recordings, and raw footage into polished social videos that quickly grab attention.

The work goes beyond basic editing. The ideal candidate should understand pacing, attention-grabbing openings, subtitles, motion graphics, product storytelling, sound design, transitions, meme-driven content, AI/tech themes, and social media retention.

The goal is to produce videos that feel modern, premium, sharp, and ready to perform well on social platforms.

What You Should Be Good At

You should have strong skills in editing reels and short-form content, creating motion graphics and animated text, designing high-retention subtitles, syncing sound effects and music, making fast cuts, and shaping stories effectively. Experience with product demo edits, improving screen recordings, building hook-driven video structures, and creating content in an AI/startup style is important.

You should also be comfortable making raw footage look polished and premium, especially for Instagram and YouTube Shorts formats.

Tools You May Work With

The role may involve tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Canva, Figma, Runway, or other AI video tools. The company is more focused on the end result than any specific software.

Who Fits Best

The right person regularly watches reels, shorts, startup videos, AI content, and ads, and understands what makes viewers stop scrolling. You should be able to take a rough concept and turn it into something visually strong without needing constant direction.

Being able to create different video styles, test what works, move quickly, think creatively, and pay close attention to details such as fonts, spacing, timing, transitions, captions, and audio will help you succeed in this role.

Primary Objective

Your main responsibility is to make StepsAI highly visible and memorable on social media. The content should explain what the company does, build curiosity and trust, drive signups, and make businesses feel the need for AI agents right away.
