Role Summary
The Vice President of Operations is a full-time remote leadership role accountable for the organization’s operational performance from end to end. The position will shape, roll out, and continuously refine processes so they stay aligned with business and financial objectives. It involves guiding operations teams, tracking performance metrics, and leading efficiency, quality, and scalability improvements. The role also contributes to profit-and-loss related operational planning, works closely with senior leaders on strategy, and helps ensure customer service delivery remains consistently strong. In addition, this leader will coordinate cross-functional initiatives, reduce operational risk, and promote a culture of continuous improvement, transparent communication, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall operations function and ensure day-to-day performance is aligned with company goals.
- Design, implement, and improve workflows, operating processes, and performance measurement systems.
- Manage operational teams and provide leadership that supports accountability and strong execution.
- Monitor key performance indicators and use results to guide decision-making and improvement efforts.
- Drive initiatives that increase efficiency, strengthen quality, and make operations more scalable.
- Contribute to P&L-related operational planning and connect operational choices to business outcomes.

- Maintain and improve customer service standards across the organization.

- Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks while supporting resilient processes.

Qualifications
- Extensive experience in operations management, including process design, workflow improvement, and performance tracking.
- Strong exposure to P&L management and the ability to understand how operational decisions affect financial results and profitability.
- Proven focus on customer service quality, with experience improving service delivery approaches.
- Background in strategic planning, including setting priorities, allocating resources, and building long-term capabilities.
- Solid project management experience, with a history of leading cross-functional work from planning to completion.
- Experience managing distributed or remote teams, along with effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Analytical approach with the ability to use data and metrics to drive better outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related discipline; an MBA or similar advanced degree is an added advantage.
- Prior senior operations leadership experience in organizations undergoing growth or transformation.
