Role Overview
A fast-growing hospitality and entertainment group is in a major expansion stage across the United States and is hiring a Vice President of People to create and lead its people strategy. This position offers the chance to shape the HR function from scratch, putting in place the systems, structure, and culture required to support multiple new venue launches while keeping the organization agile, consistent, and employee-focused. Based in Dallas, Texas, with national travel and remote working, the role also comes with a salary of $190,000.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish the US people function from the ground up, including the HR framework, systems, and operating processes.
- Create and implement onboarding, learning, and development programs across all sites.
- Lead the recruitment approach for new openings so each launch is staffed with high-quality teams.
- Partner closely with operations to strengthen performance, employee retention, and everyday engagement.
- Introduce clear procedures for employee relations, legal compliance, and workplace standards.
- Support the development of a strong, unified culture across a growing multi-location business.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate brings senior HR leadership experience in hospitality, restaurants, leisure, or other multi-site environments. They will have a track record of building people processes and teams in expanding or evolving businesses, along with confidence in handling US compliance and employee relations. This role suits someone who is highly practical, comfortable being close to day-to-day operations, and able to earn trust quickly at every level of the business. Success in this position also requires strong communication skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial setting where priorities can change quickly.
Location and Working Style
This is a remote role based out of Dallas, Texas, and includes national travel.
Compensation
The salary for this role is $190,000.
