Role overview

The Vice President of Operations is a senior, full-time remote leadership position focused on keeping daily business functions running effectively while also advancing long-term organizational goals. This role is accountable for improving operational performance, guiding strategic execution, and ensuring the company delivers consistently strong service across teams.

What you will do

  • Oversee everyday operations and coordinate work across multiple functions.
  • Track key operational measures and use them to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead process redesign efforts to increase efficiency, consistency, and scale.
  • Manage budgets and overall profit-and-loss performance with an eye on margin improvement and sustainable growth.
  • Direct major initiatives from initial planning through execution and completion.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience managing budgets and P&L, with a history of improving margins and supporting financial growth.
  • Prior leadership experience in customer service, with a focus on dependable service and complex issue resolution.
  • Strong strategic planning ability, including setting priorities and turning business goals into execution plans.
  • Advanced project management experience leading cross-functional efforts and delivering measurable results.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and judgment backed by data and KPI review.
  • Inclusive leadership approach, with experience guiding remote or distributed teams and developing talent.
  • Clear communication and stakeholder management skills for working with executives and cross-functional partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related discipline; an MBA or similar advanced degree is an advantage.
  • Experience in a senior operations position in a growth-focused or multi-site environment is strongly preferred.
