Role Summary

The Vice President of Information Technology is a full-time remote leadership position accountable for setting the company’s technology direction and overseeing day-to-day IT operations. The role is responsible for governance, infrastructure, security, and enterprise systems so technology remains reliable, scalable, and aligned with compliance expectations. This leader will guide IT priorities, manage technology spending and vendors, and partner with senior leadership to connect technology plans with business objectives and expansion goals.

Key Focus Areas

This position requires oversight of major IT programs, governance structures, and internal standards. The role also involves evaluating technology investments, improving processes, monitoring system health, reducing operational risk, and ensuring employees have secure and effective tools to work with.

Qualifications

Applicants should bring deep experience across information technology, including infrastructure, applications, security, and compliance. The role also calls for substantial IT management experience covering team leadership, vendor coordination, and budget ownership. Strong capability in strategic IT planning, project execution, and stakeholder communication is essential. A background in a senior technology leadership role is preferred, especially in financial services or another heavily regulated environment. Candidates must be able to perform effectively in a distributed remote setting and collaborate well across teams.

Education and Certifications

A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline is required. An advanced degree or professional certifications such as PMP, CISSP, or ITIL would be an advantage.
