Role Overview

This senior HR leadership role is based in Greater Boston and focuses on shaping people strategy across the enterprise. The position partners closely with the Chief People Officer to advance talent, culture, leadership, and organizational effectiveness priorities, while also contributing to executive and board-level conversations.

What You’ll Do

  • Work with the Chief People Officer to refine and carry out enterprise-wide talent, culture, leadership, and organizational effectiveness plans, including support for Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors discussions.
  • Help evaluate, refresh, and expand people programs, processes, and practices so they keep pace with business growth and changing needs.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the HR Business Partner organization to build a strong, high-performing team that supports business strategy, engagement, change leadership, and organizational health.
  • Own enterprise initiatives such as talent reviews, succession planning, organization design, leadership development, workforce planning, and change management.
  • Act as the senior HR partner for U.S. Commercial and Medical Affairs leaders, advising on structure, leadership capability, workforce planning, and launch readiness.
  • Guide the employee engagement strategy, from survey execution and action planning to leadership accountability and ongoing improvement efforts.
  • Partner with senior leaders to design people strategies that improve commercial and medical readiness, support launch success, and strengthen cross-functional collaboration.
  • Support the design and continuing management of field compensation frameworks in coordination with Total Rewards, Finance, and Commercial Operations.

Experience and Background

  • Substantial experience as a senior HR leader and trusted advisor to executive teams in fast-growing life sciences environments.
  • Strong track record of leading HR Business Partner teams and developing organizational capability through direct leadership.
  • Ability to shape enterprise talent, organization, and culture decisions through senior-level influence and strong commercial understanding.
  • Experience turning employee feedback into practical action plans and measurable improvements in engagement and business results.
  • Additional center-of-excellence exposure is a plus, though it is not mandatory.
  • At least 14 years of progressive HR experience, with major HRBP leadership responsibilities supporting Commercial functions such as Sales, Marketing, and Access and/or Medical Affairs in biotech or life sciences.
  • Proven success supporting U.S. Commercial and Medical Affairs builds, including the creation and execution of HR launch-readiness plans.
  • Hands-on experience with organizational design, talent management, change management, and leadership development in growth-stage or launch environments.
