Role Overview
This senior leadership position is responsible for directing the company’s business in the country and making sure local execution supports broader enterprise goals and market potential. The role carries full ownership of country performance, operational strength, and delivery of key strategic priorities.
What You'll Do
- Set the country’s business direction and translate enterprise goals into local execution plans.
- Take accountability for overall country results, including operational performance and delivery against strategic priorities.
- Coordinate the work of multiple local functions such as sales, operations, customer success, and other business teams.
- Maintain strong governance, compliance, and risk controls while ensuring alignment with local laws, company policies, and ethical standards.
- Partner closely with regional and global leaders to align budgets, investments, resources, and operating plans with country needs.
- Improve organizational effectiveness by setting priorities, clarifying ownership, and encouraging collaboration in a matrixed environment.
- Sponsor and lead transformation, expansion, or change initiatives that strengthen business results, customer experience, and organizational capability.
- Promote an inclusive, high-performance culture that supports engagement, leadership growth, and retention.
- Provide executive oversight for the country organization, including leadership of senior functional heads and/or country leadership team members.
- Manage hiring, coaching, performance reviews, and professional development for leaders and teams across the country.
- Direct resource allocation and investment decisions in line with business objectives and evolving market requirements.
- Define clear expectations and accountability measures to ensure strong execution and measurable outcomes.
Compensation
The stated annual salary range is ₹5,855,700.00 to ₹7,604,800.00, with pay shown on a monthly basis. The actual offer may differ based on location, relevant skills, experience, market factors, and business needs. Compensation can grow over time through performance-based increases, expanded responsibilities, promotions, or internal opportunities, subject to company policy and local practice. This role may also qualify for additional total rewards, such as participation in the Vertex Bonus Plan (VOB), a role-specific sales commission or bonus, and/or equity grants where applicable. All compensation must meet local pay transparency and minimum wage rules.
