Job description
About LIO
LIO is an integrated platform built for inpatient mental health care, bringing together digital rounding, ambient monitoring, and compliance reporting. Its contactless approach and FDA-cleared software help frontline teams and hospital leadership make evidence-based decisions that improve safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
The Opportunity
This is an important position within a global sales organization, reporting directly to the VP of Sales. The person in this role will focus on creating new business opportunities through a consultative, customer-first selling style and will be expected to close meaningful deals that support ambitious growth goals.
A major part of the job involves engaging with prospective customers at Board and Senior Leadership level, building market awareness, and driving opportunities all the way from first contact through to signed business. The role also requires close coordination with Marketing, Inside Sales, technical operations, and Customer Success to ensure a smooth handoff after the sale.
Key Responsibilities
- Help promote and champion LIO’s new technology through direct selling, business development activity, and participation in trade shows.
- Develop trusted, long-term relationships with senior decision makers across clinical, operational, and financial teams in mental health organizations.
- Create a healthy sales pipeline and win new business by personally managing opportunities from the first meeting to final close, including travel within the United States when needed.
- Partner effectively with distributed internal teams so customer onboarding and transfer to Customer Success happen smoothly.
- Keep CRM records, forecasting, activity tracking, and pipeline data accurate and up to date in sales systems.
Requirements
- Background in selling digital or SaaS solutions across healthcare environments.
- Proven ability to navigate complex healthcare sales processes, including negotiations, security and compliance reviews, and procurement.
- Practical experience with modern sales tools such as CRMs like Salesforce or HubSpot and prospecting platforms like ZoomInfo or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Strong relationship-building ability and comfort working across multiple remote teams.
- Confident communicating with senior clinical stakeholders.
- High energy, motivation, and commitment to making a meaningful impact in this sector.
- Willingness to learn quickly and step outside your comfort zone.
- Self-driven, target-focused, and consistent in meeting sales goals.
- Prior exposure to the behavioral health sector is an advantage.
Additional Information
This role includes some US-based travel. It is part of a remote working setup and sits within a global sales team.
