Program overview
Udaan is a six-month initiative created for people with disabilities. It is designed to provide a structured and supportive entry into the workplace through onboarding support, tailored learning and development, mentorship, on-the-job learning, and access to strong benefits. The program is intended to help participants grow in a genuinely inclusive environment and may create a pathway to full-time opportunities.
This edition, Udaan 3.0, reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to diversity, inclusion, and empowerment, with each batch helping strengthen a workplace where everyone can contribute and build a career with confidence.
Role objective
The role focuses on helping the D2C team expand selection quickly by spotting MSKU whitespace opportunities and executing brand and style activation work in line with the 2026 growth plan.
Key responsibilities
- Identify high-priority article type gaps across underrepresented business units such as Women’s Western Wear, Home Furnishing, Jewellery, and Kids.
- Use catalogue crawls to surface selection gaps and prepare whitespace reports that help secure missing assortment from current brand partners.
- Run proactive crawls to strengthen the business development pipeline and support the goal of adding 2L+ incremental selection from both new and existing brands during the year.
- Track core activation metrics for newly onboarded styles during the incubation stage.
- Work closely with BD, curation, and incubation teams to remove blockers and monitor activation progress.
Performance expectations
- Help achieve selection parity (SDS) of at least 70% versus competitors.
- Support 80% ad coverage for newly launched styles.
- Help reduce the number of brands that remain at zero GMV after three months of onboarding.
