The right candidate should bring at least 5 years of GCC experience, ideally gained in Food & Beverage, Hospitality, Retail, or Entertainment environments where large daily cash volumes are part of normal operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Keep track of the daily cash position and make sure enough liquidity is available for business needs.
  • Review cash movement across all cinema branches.
  • Build cash flow projections on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Improve the way cash is used and suggest better cash management practices.
  • Maintain healthy cash levels while limiting financial exposure.
  • Handle relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
  • Carry out electronic transfers, supplier settlements, payroll funding, and other banking transactions.
  • Monitor bank account balances and complete account reconciliations.
  • Confirm that all receipts and payments are entered correctly.
  • Support the setup, maintenance, and administration of company bank accounts.
  • Supervise cash handling procedures across cinemas and F&B outlets.
  • Track daily cash collections and bank deposits from all locations.
  • Check cash differences and investigate any mismatches.
  • Make sure cash procedures and internal controls are followed properly.
  • Assist with regular cash counts and audit checks.
  • Prepare treasury reports, cash position statements, and liquidity forecasts for management.
  • Share timely updates on cash flow, banking activity, and financial risks.
  • Contribute to month-end and year-end closing work.
  • Help with budgeting and financial planning activities.
  • Follow company financial policies and internal control requirements.
  • Watch for treasury-related risks and recommend ways to reduce them.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE banking rules and financial reporting obligations.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing treasury records and documents.
  • Work closely with Finance, Operations, Procurement, HR, and external banking partners.
  • Assist operational teams with treasury-related questions.
  • Coordinate payment timelines with suppliers and service providers.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or a similar field is required.
  • Holding ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CTP credentials will be considered an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of treasury or finance experience in the GCC is required.
  • Prior work in Food & Beverage, Hospitality, Retail, Cinema, or Entertainment is strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing large cash volumes across multiple business locations is important.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP or accounting platforms is needed.

Technical Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of treasury operations and cash flow forecasting.
  • Familiarity with accounting tools such as QuickBooks or comparable ERP systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Good knowledge of bank reconciliations and financial reporting.
  • Understanding of UAE banking practices and financial regulations.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and solve problems effectively.
  • High standards of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Careful attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good planning and organizational abilities.
