Role overview
Dorset County Hospital is looking for a dependable, energetic, and positive Courier Driver to join its Transport team in Dorchester. The role focuses on moving essential items efficiently between the Trust and other healthcare organisations across Dorset.
What the job involves
The courier service covers the delivery and collection of mail, specimens, vaccines, medical records, and, from time to time, medical gases. The work also includes sorting and transporting sundry items and specimens to and from healthcare sites throughout Dorset, as well as major acute trusts including Salisbury, Royal Bournemouth, Poole, and Southampton.
Working pattern
Two positions are available:
- Full-time: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 11:00 am to 19:00 pm
- Part-time: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 15:00 pm
