Role overview
Louis Fitzgerald Group is hiring a proactive, hands-on Recruitment & Training Manager for its head office in Palmerstown, Dublin 20. The position supports hospitality operations by bringing in strong talent and building the skills of the workforce so teams deliver excellent customer service and remain closely aligned with the group’s values.
What the role is designed to achieve
This position sits at the centre of hiring, onboarding, learning, and employee development across pub, restaurant, and hotel operations. The successful person will help ensure teams are prepared, engaged, and trained to a high standard, while also supporting a service culture that strengthens the guest experience.
Recruitment and workforce planning
- Take ownership of ongoing recruitment across pub, restaurant, and hotel teams.
- Work with department leaders to identify staffing requirements and prepare for busy trading periods.
- Handle the full hiring journey, from sourcing candidates and conducting interviews through to onboarding new starters.
Training and service standards
- Create and deliver induction and service-oriented training sessions.
- Make sure all learning content reflects group standards, service expectations, and operating procedures.
- Organise mandatory training relating to compliance, safety, and hospitality requirements.
- Assist with leadership development and future succession planning for frontline teams.
Engagement and development
- Contribute to staff retention efforts and wider employee development initiatives.
- Track how effective training is and review the impact on staff performance.
- Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and service-led workplace atmosphere.
