Role Summary

This role involves driving sales and expanding market reach for Meril's comprehensive 360 Infection Prevention portfolio. This includes Advanced Wound Care (AWC), General Wound Care (GWC), Infection Control & Sterilization Solutions, and Surgical Apparels & Drapes. The position requires building and maintaining robust relationships with hospitals and key healthcare stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attain territory sales targets and achieve overarching business objectives.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with surgeons, infection control teams, Operating Theatre (OT) and Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) personnel, procurement departments, and hospital administration.
  • Identify and secure new business prospects and institutional accounts.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, facilitate trials, organize Continuing Medical Education (CME) events, and execute promotional activities.
  • Partner with distributors to boost secondary sales, ensure product availability, and manage payment collections.
  • Track market dynamics and competitor activities to inform strategy.
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to all company reporting procedures and processes.

Candidate Profile

For Territory Sales Manager positions in Mangalore and Bangalore, candidates should possess 2 to 6 years of experience in relevant fields such as Medical Devices, Wound Care, Infection Control, Surgical Disposables, CSSD, Sterilization, or Institutional Healthcare Sales.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Science, Pharmacy, or Life Sciences is required.
  • An MBA with a specialization in Sales & Marketing is considered a preference.

Preferred Industry Background

Ideal candidates will have prior experience in Medical Devices, Infection Prevention, Wound Care, Surgical Consumables, CSSD, Sterilization, Hospital Consumables, or Institutional Healthcare Sales.
