About the Company

Cargill is a long-established global agribusiness with more than 160,000 team members working across 70 countries. With over 150 years of industry experience, the company focuses on helping feed the world responsibly, lowering environmental impact, and contributing positively to the communities where it operates.

Role Overview

This opportunity is for a Territory Manager to join the grain origination team in Perth, Western Australia, with flexibility to work remotely. The role is central to building durable relationships with growers and other industry stakeholders while strengthening Cargill’s position as a preferred partner.

The position offers an attractive salary package, a performance-based bonus, a company vehicle for work use, and additional benefits that come with supporting Aussie growers within a global organisation.

Purpose of the Role

The Territory Manager will be responsible for delivering territory revenue and grain origination targets by creating value for both customers and the business. Success in this role requires a proactive, self-driven professional who can shape buying and selling decisions to improve profitability and influence internal as well as external stakeholders to deliver outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves building and maintaining relationships across the grower network, identifying commercial opportunities, and supporting the origination of grain and oilseeds.

  • Develop and expand connections with growers, serving as the main point of contact for Cargill activities in the assigned region.
  • Spot, develop, and convert opportunities, with a growing emphasis on sustainability.
  • Represent the business at events that help strengthen relationships with growers and wider industry contacts.
  • Promote Cargill’s products and services to increase visibility and demand among customers.
  • Track customer behaviour, competitor moves, and wider market trends.
  • Build a solid understanding of customer businesses and their requirements.
  • Drive customer value through effective account management and long-term growth.
  • Support grain and oilseed origination through strong customer relationship management.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the grain sector or in agricultural sales and marketing.
  • A self-starting approach with the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Comfort working collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated success in building long-term professional relationships.
  • Strong ethical standards in business conduct.

What’s Offered

  • Competitive pay package, including a fully maintained vehicle and performance incentive plan.
  • Freedom to work with significant autonomy and room for career growth.
  • Flexible working arrangements.
  • Exposure to highly skilled colleagues and inspiring leadership.
  • Long-term stability with a global employer that prioritises people.
  • A collaborative culture and an inclusive team environment.
