We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tender & Business Development Executive to manage the entire tendering process and drive business development. This role involves close collaboration with internal departments such as Sales, Legal, Finance, Operations, HR, IT, and Customer Service to ensure compliant and timely tender submissions. You will also be responsible for lead generation, cultivating external partnerships, and identifying new business avenues to foster company growth.

Your Tasks

  • Oversee the complete tender lifecycle, from document preparation and bid submission to post-tender follow-ups and review sessions for continuous improvement.
  • Scrutinize contracts, NDAs, and agreements to identify and mitigate risks, ensure alignment with company goals, and uncover opportunities for added value.
  • Coordinate with internal teams including Sales, Legal, Finance, and Operations to gather essential information, obtain necessary approvals, and align on tender strategies.
  • Establish and maintain a centralized repository for all tender documents, agreements, contracts, and performance data to facilitate future submissions and enhance tracking.
  • Enhance tendering and business development methodologies by implementing industry best practices and efficiency improvements.
  • Spearhead lead generation initiatives through proactive market research, participation in industry events, and strategic networking.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external entities such as government bodies, chambers of commerce, embassies, and other corporations to identify new business leads and foster collaborative partnerships.
  • Conduct comprehensive market analyses to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements, ensuring the company stays competitive in identifying high-potential opportunities.

What You Bring

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in tender management, business development, bid coordination, or a comparable field.
  • A solid grasp of procurement processes, regulatory compliance, and contractual obligations.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Capacity to perform effectively under pressure and in a dynamic work environment.
  • Prior experience engaging with external partners like government agencies, chambers of commerce, or embassies is highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong command of both written and spoken English.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Law, Marketing, or a related discipline.

What We Offer

  • Career advancement opportunities with a global leader in the express logistics industry.
  • Extensive learning and development programs.
  • An inclusive and supportive workplace culture.
  • Competitive compensation package and wellness programs.
