About the Role

This position sits at the heart of guest communication. The Telephone Operator ensures every incoming and internal call is handled with speed, accuracy, and a polished luxury-hospitality approach while supporting guests, departments, and special requests across the resort.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming and internal calls quickly and courteously, always following luxury service standards.
  • Share correct details about the resort’s facilities, services, events, dining outlets, and operating hours.
  • Direct guest requests to the right department, including Housekeeping, Front Office, Concierge, and Engineering.
  • Receive wake-up call requests and ensure they are scheduled and completed accurately.
  • Handle emergency calls with composure and follow the required safety and security procedures.
  • Protect guest privacy and treat confidential information with care.
  • Record guest requests, concerns, and follow-up actions in the system to support timely resolution.
  • Work with Front Office and Guest Services on VIP arrangements, special requests, and personalized guest needs.
  • Use the hotel PBX/telephone system correctly to route calls without errors.
  • Assist with international calls and support guests who need language or communication help.
  • Keep a calm, courteous, and professional telephone style at all times.
  • Provide support to other departments during busy periods or special events when needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong spoken communication and active listening skills.
  • A pleasant voice and a professional telephone manner.
  • Good familiarity with resort services and property layout.
  • Ability to manage several tasks at once while staying composed under pressure.
  • A guest-first mindset suited to luxury hospitality.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role within a 5-star luxury property.
  • Fluency in English; Russian or another additional language is an advantage.

This is a full-time, onsite role based in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. The position requires a polished, service-oriented approach and the ability to support both guests and internal teams in a fast-paced luxury resort setting.
