Role overview
Solvo Global is hiring a Telecom Infrastructure Estimator to help plan and support telecommunications construction work. The position centers on preparing precise project cost estimates and competitive bids for fiber optic and outside plant (OSP) infrastructure rollouts.
Core responsibilities
- Review telecom project materials such as construction drawings, fiber network plans, and technical specifications.
- Build comprehensive estimates for labor, materials, equipment, tools, and subcontracted work.
- Prepare and submit competitive tender or bid proposals.
- Assess the project scope, delivery schedule, and resource needs.
- Work closely with engineering, operations, and project delivery teams.
- Make sure estimates support both cost control and profitability targets.
Required qualifications
- Background in telecommunications infrastructure or construction projects.
- Solid knowledge of fiber optic networks and outside plant environments.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and network design documents.
- Hands-on experience in budgeting, estimating, and project analysis.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.
Preferred experience
- Fiber optic deployment work, including FTTH and backbone networks.
- Outside Plant (OSP) construction experience.
- Exposure to utility infrastructure or civil works.
- Experience in wireless or telecom network construction.
