Role summary
Veloris Global is hiring a Telecaller for its Sales & Business Development team in Vellimadukunnu, Kozhikode, Kerala. The company works across BPO, IT services, and digital enablement, serving GCC and global clients with solutions such as IT support, digital marketing, CRM handling, business process outsourcing, sales operations, e-commerce support, and back-office services.
This opportunity is suited to someone who is energetic, persuasive, and comfortable handling outbound conversations. The role focuses on lead qualification, customer engagement, arranging meetings or demos, and supporting the sales pipeline.
What you will do
- Reach out to prospective customers using company-provided databases and leads collected by the business.
- Present the company’s offerings and explain the value they provide.
- Assess incoming leads by understanding customer needs and spotting possible business opportunities.
- Arrange appointments, meetings, and product demonstrations for the sales team.
- Maintain regular follow-up through phone calls, emails, and messaging channels.
- Record customer conversations and lead progress accurately in CRM tools or tracking sheets.
- Develop positive, ongoing relationships with potential customers.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets for calls and lead generation.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure proper handoff and follow-up.
- Respond to customer queries and share relevant details about products and services.
What we are looking for
- 2 to 3 years of experience in telecalling, lead generation, inside sales, customer engagement, or business development.
- Strong spoken communication skills in English and Malayalam.
- Good persuasion, negotiation, and people skills.
- Comfort with making a large number of outbound calls.
- Working knowledge of CRM tools, MS Excel, and email communication.
- Ability to work on your own and consistently meet assigned targets.
- Prior exposure to B2B sales, IT services, SaaS, education, healthcare, real estate, or digital marketing is an added advantage.
- Experience using professional networking platforms, online lead sources, and customer databases is preferred.
- Ability to build rapport, maintain follow-ups, and keep customers engaged over time.
