Role overview
Abdulla Al Masaood and Sons Group is looking for a Technician to join its Harley-Davidson motorcycles team in Abu Dhabi. In this position, you will handle diagnosis, servicing, repairs, and accessory fitting for Harley-Davidson motorcycles while working to manufacturer standards. The role places strong emphasis on high-quality workmanship, customer satisfaction, workshop safety, and continuous technical development.
Key responsibilities
- Perform scheduled servicing and general maintenance on Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
- Use Harley-Davidson diagnostic equipment and technical resources to find mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults.
- Carry out repairs in line with factory specifications and approved standards.
- Handle warranty repairs and keep clear records of diagnostics, findings, and corrective measures taken.
- Install genuine Harley-Davidson parts and accessories.
- Complete pre-delivery inspections for new motorcycles before handover.
- Finish repair orders within the allotted labor time.
- Carry out road tests before and after repairs when required.
- Maintain a tidy, safe, and orderly workshop environment.
- Look after workshop tools and equipment and use them correctly.
- Take part in Harley-Davidson training sessions and stay current with required certifications.
- Share diagnosis findings and repair advice with Service Advisors and management.
- Follow company rules, safety procedures, and Harley-Davidson operating requirements at all times.
Required qualifications
- A diploma or certification in Automotive Technology or Motorcycle Technology.
- 2 to 5 years of experience as a motorcycle technician.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues.
- Comfortable reading technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
- Basic computer skills, including use of diagnostic software.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Strong problem-solving ability and sound technical judgment.
- Focus on delivering excellent customer satisfaction.
- A collaborative attitude and the ability to work well in a busy environment.
Preferred background
- Prior experience working on Harley-Davidson motorcycles is an advantage.
- A valid motorcycle riding licence is preferred.
- Exposure to manufacturer-led training programmes is an added benefit.
