Job description

Role Overview

This opportunity is for a Sales Development Representative based in Birmingham. It sits within a fast-scaling managed services and IT reseller business operating in the Midlands, with a strong focus on growth and investment in its commercial team.

The position is aimed at someone who wants to build a long-term career in sales. Prior sales experience is not required, but the employer is looking for a person with energy, resilience, and the drive to succeed in a target-led environment.

Package details include a £35,000 annual base salary plus an uncapped £20,000 on-target earnings component. A structured six-month training programme is also part of the role.

What You Will Do

As an SDR, you will help create new business opportunities and support the sales function in moving opportunities through the pipeline.

Pipeline Development

  • Identify and contact prospective customers.
  • Assess both incoming and outbound leads to determine fit and potential.
  • Set up meetings and uncover new sales opportunities.
  • Support outreach and campaign activity across cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and managed services.

Sales Team Support

  • Work alongside senior sales colleagues on live opportunities.
  • Assist with proposals, pricing discussions, and broader commercial conversations.
  • Maintain engagement with prospects as they progress through the sales process.
