Job description
Role overview
This is a 6-month fixed-term contract for a Tech Recruiter in Germany. The position supports a partner company, which will handle all applications and subsequent hiring steps. The role is part of a fast-moving global talent acquisition team focused on attracting top talent for Product, Engineering, and Design roles within a fully remote, internationally distributed business.
The environment is high-volume, dynamic, and purpose-led, so the role demands strong prioritisation, ownership, and a focus on delivery. You will manage recruitment from start to finish while keeping the candidate journey smooth, consistent, and positive. Alongside hands-on hiring work, you will also help refine hiring processes, tools, and operational efficiency in a modern, technology-enabled recruitment setup.
This opportunity lets you directly influence how high-performing remote teams are built across multiple regions.
Key responsibilities
- Run end-to-end hiring for both technical and non-technical positions, with particular emphasis on Product, Engineering, and Design recruitment in a fast-growing organisation.
- Work closely with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition leaders to assess headcount needs and shape practical hiring approaches.
- Own candidate management throughout the process and ensure a strong, consistent experience at every stage.
- Handle large candidate pipelines, screen applicants, and build shortlists that align with role needs and diversity goals.
- Improve hiring speed and efficiency by streamlining workflows and reducing time-to-hire where possible.
- Measure, interpret, and share recruitment data to support hiring decisions and workforce planning.
- Team up with Talent Sourcers to build robust pipelines for roles that are difficult to fill.
- Represent remote working culture and company values throughout the recruitment process.
What you need
- Hands-on experience in full-cycle tech recruitment, ideally gained in a fast-paced startup or scale-up setting.
- A strong history of hiring at scale for Engineering, Product, and/or Design roles.
- Confidence in managing large recruitment volumes without compromising quality or candidate care.
- Experience with current ATS and recruiting platforms such as Greenhouse, GoodTime, and BrightHire, plus openness to AI-supported hiring tools.
- Solid understanding of technical roles and the ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams and other stakeholders.
- Excellent written and spoken English for work in a global, distributed environment.
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to juggle multiple open roles and meet hiring targets.
- A proactive, outcome-focused approach, with a clear commitment to diversity, inclusion, and fair hiring practices.
Benefits and working environment
- Market-competitive pay aligned to experience.
- Fully remote work across the EMEA region.
- Flexible working hours with an async-first culture.
- Flexible paid time off.
- 16 weeks of paid parental leave.
- Stock options and long-term incentive potential.
- Learning and development allowance.
- Allowance for home office and IT equipment.
- Mental health and employee assistance support.
- Budget for coworking spaces or local team meetups.
Application and data handling
Applications are reviewed through an AI-assisted matching process designed to screen candidates quickly, objectively, and fairly against the role’s core requirements. The system identifies the most suitable applicants, and that shortlist is passed to the hiring company for further assessment. Interviews, assessments, and final decisions are handled by the employer’s internal team.
By applying, you consent to the processing of your personal data for candidate evaluation and sharing relevant details with the hiring employer, under legitimate interest and pre-contractual measures in line with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR. You may request access, correction, deletion, or objection at any time.
AI tools may also assist with tasks such as resume review, application screening, and response analysis. These tools support the recruitment process but do not replace human judgment, and final hiring decisions are always made by people.
