Role Summary

This position is a 1-month internship in manufacturing.

Qualification and Experience

Applicants should have a Diploma, B.Sc., or an equivalent qualification. The role is suitable for candidates with 0 to 1 year of experience.

Technical Skills

The role calls for familiarity with Pas|X, coating, and tablet compression. Exposure to OSD manufacturing and packing is needed, along with experience in liquid and semi-solid manufacturing and packing. A solid understanding of GMP and good laboratory practices is also important. Practical experience in granulation, blending, and tablet inspection is expected.

Behavioural Skills

The candidate should be able to take initiative to identify and resolve manufacturing challenges. The role also requires working well with cross-functional teams in a cooperative and inclusive setting, managing time effectively to meet production targets, and communicating clearly with user departments and service providers, including training-related interactions.

About the Department

This opportunity sits within the Global Manufacturing Organisation (GMO). The team focuses on precision manufacturing and operational innovation to support healthcare delivery across the globe.

The company operates 19 advanced manufacturing plants across Hyderabad, Vizag, Baddi, Mexico, Shreveport, and Mirfield. These include 8 OSD facilities, 3 injectable facilities, and 8 API facilities.

Manufacturing excellence and process benchmarking are central to delivering quality medicines in 66 countries. The company produces complex APIs and maintains more than 1,150 drug master files across therapy areas such as oncology, cardio-vascular, central nervous system, and anti-diabetes.
