Role Overview
Barefoot Student is hiring 2 full-time Team Leads in Birmingham, Alabama for a hands-on leadership role with Superior Wash Southeast. The position is suited to someone who can set the pace, work alongside the crew, and help others improve while delivering strong service outcomes.
The work focuses on cleaning and washing commercial trucks and fleet vehicles at customer sites. Prior experience is not required, as training will be provided for the right candidate.
What You Will Be Doing
- Supervise small crews and make sure team members follow expectations.
- Work on the job yourself while demonstrating the standard the team should meet.
- Coach and train coworkers on company procedures and service expectations.
- Keep work safe, efficient, and aligned with company quality standards.
- Serve as a strong example on the field and be able to teach the process to others.
Requirements
- You must have dependable transportation to reach the company shop.
- A clean driving record is required.
- Weekend availability is mandatory, including both Saturday and Sunday.
- You should bring strong leadership and communication abilities.
- The role requires someone who can lead while actively working in the field.
- Dependability, accountability, and a results-focused approach are essential.
- You need the ability to learn company methods and pass that knowledge on effectively.
Pay and Schedule
The role pays $17 per hour during a 30-day training period and increases to $18 per hour after training is successfully completed. Overtime is available, and pay is issued weekly. The usual workweek is 45 to 55 hours, with expected earnings after training of $855 to $1,125 per week.
