Team Leader - Quality Control

Role Overview

NADEC is seeking an experienced Team Leader in Quality Control to oversee laboratory operations in Haradh, Eastern Region, and help maintain consistently high product quality across its manufacturing sites. This position is centered on leading QC activities, coordinating a team, and strengthening food safety and compliance practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the daily work of the laboratory and quality control team so product approvals are completed on time.
• Keep quality processes aligned with standards, SOPs, and all applicable regulatory obligations.
• Supervise, guide, and develop QC staff, technicians, and inspectors.
• Track quality performance patterns and implement improvement actions where needed.
• Handle non-conformance cases and drive corrective and preventive action plans through to closure.
• Oversee routine upkeep, verification, and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Organize and support training sessions for both production and quality personnel.
• Improve use of budget, materials, and other resources within the QC department.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant holds a bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering, Microbiology, Dairy Technology, or a similar discipline, and brings 3 to 4 years of quality control experience in dairy or FMCG settings. Prior experience managing teams in a manufacturing or production environment is essential. A strong working knowledge of ISO 22000, FSSC, HACCP, and food safety systems is also required, along with solid analytical ability, problem-solving skills, communication skills, and strong MS Office capability, especially Excel.
