Job description

Role overview

Audible creates and shares audio storytelling for listeners around the world, partnering with leading creators to deliver immersive stories and experiences. The company values people from varied backgrounds and believes creative collaboration helps teams do their best work.

This opening is for a Team Coordinator supporting leadership and day-to-day operations within the Studios organisation. It is best suited to someone who works as a team assistant or coordinator, with a strong focus on coordination and events rather than a classic Executive Assistant or Production Coordinator profile.

The position supports two studio leaders and also contributes to wider team priorities. The right person will be organised, initiative-driven, and collaborative, with the ability to keep several workstreams moving at once and help connect people across the business.

Success in this role calls for sound judgement, careful follow-through, strong communication, and a calm, trusted approach when handling detail and working with multiple stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist leadership and the broader team with calendars, logistics, documents, meetings, travel arrangements, expense handling, and light tracking of projects.
  • Plan and run team gatherings and events such as screenings, premieres, and larger all-team meetings, including brainstorming formats, coordinating delivery, inviting participants where required, partnering with other teams, and offering basic content-production support.
  • Help organise speeches, appearances, market activities, trade events, and leadership visits by building plans, managing logistics, preparing materials, and coordinating with internal and external contacts.
  • Work with Marketing, US counterparts, and other partner groups on important moments and leadership activity, including agendas, run-of-show materials, and post-event follow-ups.
  • Coordinate one-off projects and maintain trackers for leadership priorities such as strategic initiatives, external engagements, follow-ups, and cross-team action items, updating these trackers as needs evolve.
  • Keep communication channels active and informative across Slack, email lists, and broader internal updates so the team stays aligned and connected.
  • Provide light support for talent and partner interactions related to events, recordings, and external engagements, working closely with the relevant leads.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate brings experience across team support, coordination, communications, and event management within media, entertainment, or another creative setting. Strong writing ability is especially useful for internal updates, briefing notes, and event-related content.

This role is a good fit for someone who is reliable, approachable, and able to build trust quickly. It calls for a person who can manage details confidently, operate calmly in a busy environment, and help bring people together around shared goals and key moments.

Basic qualifications

  • Proven experience managing multiple priorities and projects in a fast-moving, deadline-led environment.
  • Experience working with stakeholders at different levels across an organisation.
  • Background in a team assistant, coordinator, operations, events, or similar support position in media, entertainment, creative, or similarly fast-paced corporate environments.
  • Experience handling events, meetings, logistics, and communications coordination.
  • Comfort using productivity and collaboration tools such as calendars, spreadsheets, trackers, email systems, and messaging platforms.

Preferred qualifications

  • Previous work in the entertainment sector.
  • Understanding of content workflows and team operations in a creative organisation.
  • Experience supporting internal communication, engagement activity, or culture-building initiatives.
  • Experience working with external partners, talent, or guests in a professional environment.
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to prepare presentation materials.
  • Ability to work well with a diverse team.
