Job description
Role overview
Louis Vuitton has spent more than 170 years building a reputation rooted in heritage, craftsmanship, and uncompromising quality. As part of the LVMH Group and operating in 60 countries, the Maison expects every team member to uphold that standard.
In Australia and New Zealand, Louis Vuitton operates 16 stores, generates close to $500m in turnover, and employs around 450 people across retail and the support office. The business is seeking a Talent Specialist to join the People & Culture team and take ownership of the full recruitment journey across the retail network. This person will help source exceptional talent, strengthen the hiring pipeline, and support the brand’s continued leadership in the ANZ luxury market.
The role suits a recruitment professional who has developed their expertise in environments where high performance is the norm and every interaction is seen as a direct reflection of the brand.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment process for retail roles, including Client Advisors, Senior Client Advisors, Operations, Visual Merchandising, Experts, Stylists, and Interns.
- Develop strong talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, headhunting, mystery shopping, and professional networking.
- Drive campus recruitment initiatives by representing the brand and the wider Group at university careers fairs and supporting the graduate program.
- Work closely with hiring managers to shape role briefs and deliver shortlists that go beyond standard expectations.
- Write candidate communications that consistently reflect the Louis Vuitton voice and brand standards.
- Support employer branding, next-generation talent initiatives, internal mobility, and broader ANZ recruitment planning.
- Keep recruitment records and reporting accurate to inform People & Culture decisions.
What the employer is looking for
- Experience in talent acquisition within retail, premium hospitality, or another upscale service environment, with an understanding of what excellent service looks like in practice.
- Agency background is a strong advantage, especially for candidates who can source quickly and close effectively.
- Ability to recognise potential beyond a résumé and a genuine interest in what sets people apart.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to represent a luxury brand professionally.
- Capability to handle several live vacancies at once while maintaining speed, accuracy, and structure.
- A clear upward career path, with motivation for ownership, variety, and continuous growth.
