Role overview
A major European engineering and construction business is growing its Dublin team and needs a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support hiring across complex infrastructure projects. The organisation operates across several markets, is expanding strongly, and is recognised for its collaborative environment, technical depth, and high standards of delivery.
What you will do
In this position, you will work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements and shape hiring plans that attract the right people. You will own recruitment activity from start to finish, using multiple channels to find talent and keeping the candidate journey positive and professional.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment campaigns for a range of roles.
- Source candidates through job boards, social platforms, professional networks, and external agencies.
- Screen applicants, conduct interviews, and help move shortlisted candidates through the selection stages.
- Support offer discussions and negotiations.
- Monitor recruitment data, review hiring trends, and look for ways to improve processes.
- Represent the company at recruitment fairs and events.
- Help develop talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
What you need to succeed
This role suits someone with substantial experience in recruitment or talent acquisition who can handle several open positions at once while still delivering a strong service to stakeholders. You should be comfortable working in a busy environment and building effective working relationships.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience as an agency recruiter in construction or property is highly desirable.
- Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems, social media sourcing, and agency coordination.
- Proactive, flexible, and able to adapt quickly in a fast-moving setting.
- Confidence in relationship-building and strategic thinking around talent pipelines.
