About Origin

Origin is creating an endpoint AI observability platform for organizations adopting AI. The company’s focus is on helping teams deploy AI on employee devices with the visibility and safeguards needed to improve both productivity and safety.

Its mission is to increase the spread of intelligence within organizations, improve the productivity of agentic systems and the people guiding them, and keep every agent action traceable from start to finish so outcomes can be verified. Origin also aims to provide a single interface for answering complex questions about how work actually happens.

The platform is used to monitor and protect some of the world’s most important organizations. Origin is supported by Sequoia Capital, Brightmind Ventures, IA Ventures, and other leading investors.

Role Overview

Origin is hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support the company’s next phase of growth by strengthening the team. This role will manage end-to-end hiring for both technical and go-to-market functions while working closely with hiring managers in a fully remote setup.

It is a high-trust, high-accountability position suited to someone who works quickly, applies sound judgment, and is genuinely motivated by building excellent teams. You will influence how Origin hires, help shape candidate experience, improve recruitment workflows, and contribute to intentional scaling.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete recruiting process for technical and GTM/Sales positions, from sourcing and screening to interview coordination, offer handling, and candidate closing.
  • Work directly with hiring managers to clarify role needs, set hiring standards, and move searches ahead efficiently.
  • Develop and sustain a healthy talent pipeline by sourcing proactively through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and other channels.
  • Represent Origin positively in every interaction by delivering a professional, welcoming, and memorable experience for candidates.
  • Maintain the ATS (Ashby) with accurate records, timely communication, and well-documented hiring activity.
  • Monitor recruiting metrics such as pipeline strength, time to fill, and offer acceptance rate, then share insights as needed.
  • Collaborate with the People & Operations team on employer branding, job content, and process enhancements as the company grows.
  • Coordinate with the HR Coordinator to ensure a smooth transition from offer acceptance through onboarding.

Skills and Experience

The role calls for 3 to 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a startup or other fast-growing technology environment. Experience hiring for both technical and GTM/Sales roles is important, along with strong sourcing ability and a history of creating pipelines from the ground up.

Strong communication, the ability to quickly earn trust, excellent organization, and comfort managing several open roles at once are essential. Candidates should be capable of working independently in a fast-paced remote setting and should be familiar with Ashby or similar applicant tracking systems.

Nice to Have

  • Prior recruiting experience in cybersecurity or enterprise software.
  • Experience creating or improving recruiting processes at an early-stage company.

Working at Origin

Origin is a fully remote team spread across the US and Canada. The culture is built around trust, autonomy, and high performance, with an emphasis on ownership, purpose-driven work, and continuous improvement.

The company values top performers who share its mission and maintain strong standards. Team members receive generous healthcare, flexible paid time off, and support for home-office setup. Although the team moves quickly, it prioritizes quality, collaboration, and building meaningful security solutions with care and precision.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $112,000 to $155,000.
