Overview
This opportunity is for a Talent Acquisition Specialist supporting a global organization that develops advanced systems and services for the defense, aerospace, and security sectors. The assignment runs for 12 months and is based in Broomfield, Colorado in a hybrid work setup.
Compensation and benefits
The pay rate is up to $41 per hour on a W2 basis, depending on relevant experience and skill set. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and direct primary care coverage. After six months of employment, you become eligible for a 401(k) plan with a 4% company match and immediate full vesting.
Eligibility and contract terms
This role is open only to U.S. citizens and Green Card holders. C2C arrangements and third-party submissions are not accepted. It is a 12-month contract position located in Broomfield, CO, with hybrid work expectations.
Key responsibilities
The position centers on sourcing and outreach for technical talent, with a strong emphasis on improving candidate flow and strengthening pipeline quality.
- Support execution and documentation of sourcing and outreach plans, while helping improve the overall sourcing process.
- Create and refine data-backed strategies to attract qualified candidates for both current openings and future priority roles.
- Review outreach performance, measure return on investment, and suggest practical changes to increase conversion rates.
- Use advanced sourcing methods such as social media research, profile aggregators, CRM database mining, geofencing, event-based targeting, and complex Boolean search strings to build talent pipelines.
Required background
A bachelor's degree in a related field is required. Candidates should have at least 2 years of technical recruiting experience, specifically supporting engineering roles such as electrical engineering and optical engineering. Strong experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, social media sourcing, and advanced Boolean search methods is necessary. Familiarity with staffing environments is an advantage, and exposure to cleared hiring, aerospace, or defense recruiting is helpful.
