Job Overview

BayOne Solutions is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist for a remote contract assignment lasting 1 month, with the possibility of an extension. The role focuses on building talent pipelines, supporting regional hiring needs, and improving recruiting processes for both experienced and entry-level hiring.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source candidates through professional networking, employee referrals, internet-based search tools, and other recruiting channels.
  • Build and maintain a database of potential candidates, including competitor talent profiles.
  • Develop pipeline strategies to keep qualified candidates engaged for future openings.
  • Use current and emerging staffing technologies to support recruitment efforts.
  • Oversee the regional recruiting budget and manage cost-effective use of job advertisements and third-party recruiters.
  • Create a preferred vendor list of external recruiters and coordinate discounted rate negotiations with staffing leadership.
  • Screen, interview, and assess applicants as needed while keeping candidate records updated in the Taleo Talent Management System.
  • Prepare staffing metrics for the region, monitor colleague retention trends, and advise regional leaders on factors affecting turnover.
  • Train and coach hiring managers and Colleague Resource Generalists on use of the Taleo Talent Management System.
  • Support user adoption through system updates and onboarding guidance for new users.
  • Help managers learn behavioral interviewing methods and other candidate evaluation tools.
  • Provide staffing process training and guidance to Colleague Resources Generalists.

Required Skills

Education and Experience

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. PHR or SPHR certification is also preferred. The ideal candidate should have 4 years of staffing experience, including 3 years as a direct recruiter in a high-volume and hard-to-fill environment. Experience recruiting in the insurance industry is preferred, and familiarity with the Virtual Edge Candidate Management System is an advantage.

Additional Information

This is a contract role with an initial duration of 1 month and a possibility of extension. The position is remote.
