Job description

About Quindar

Quindar creates advanced software for satellite operations, enabling teams to run spacecraft with more speed, better visibility, and stronger reliability. The company is mission-oriented and works at the intersection of aerospace, software, and operations, with steady growth as it scales.

About the Role

Quindar is hiring a People Operations & Recruiting Coordinator to support sourcing, recruiting coordination, candidate communication, and core people operations. This position is well suited to someone who is highly organized, detail-focused, and motivated to help create strong candidate pipelines while contributing to a positive employee experience.

In this role, you will keep the recruiting workflow moving, assist hiring teams, schedule interviews, maintain recruiting tools, and identify candidates who are energized by space, software, and mission-driven work. You will also help with onboarding, people operations administration, company events, and team programs as needed.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify and reach out to candidates through LinkedIn, professional communities, job boards, referrals, university networks, and other relevant talent sources.
  • Create and maintain targeted talent lists for current and future openings, with emphasis on technical, operational, and mission-aligned profiles.
  • Support outbound recruiting efforts by researching candidates, drafting outreach messages, tracking responses, and following up.
  • Arrange interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and interview panels.
  • Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process in a warm, clear, and professional manner.
  • Keep candidate records accurate and ensure recruiting systems stay organized and current.
  • Assist with job postings, applicant tracking, resume review workflows, and recruiting operations.
  • Work with hiring managers to understand role expectations, target candidate profiles, and sourcing priorities.
  • Help deliver the onboarding experience for new hires by coordinating logistics, preparing documents, and helping employees get set up from day one.
  • Support employee lifecycle administration, including recordkeeping, personnel changes, and maintaining organized, compliant people operations processes.
  • Help plan and coordinate company events, team programs, and offsites that build culture, engagement, and connection.

What We’re Looking For

  • Background in recruiting coordination, sourcing, people operations, HR administration, talent acquisition support, or a similar function.
  • Comfort finding and engaging candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, databases, communities, referrals, and other sourcing methods.
  • Strong research skills, organization, and reliable follow-through.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication, especially when interacting with candidates.
  • Strong attention to detail and good judgment when handling confidential information.
  • Comfort working with applicant tracking systems, Slack, LinkedIn Recruiter, or similar tools.
  • Interest in startups, aerospace, software, or mission-driven technology companies.

Nice to Have

  • Experience sourcing for technical, engineering, product, operations, aerospace, or software positions.
  • Familiarity with Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, HireEZ, or similar recruiting platforms.
  • Experience supporting outbound recruiting campaigns or onboarding workflows.
  • Interest in creating inclusive, thoughtful, and scalable people practices.

ITAR Requirements

Because of U.S. Government export regulations, applicants must be one of the following: a U.S. citizen or national, a lawful permanent resident (green card holder), a refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or an asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158. Candidates may also qualify if they can obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

Why You’ll Love Working at Quindar

  • You’ll work in a fast-moving industry and be part of a small team with a direct impact on the success of customer space missions.
  • Work-life balance is taken seriously: employees must take 15 days off, and the company offers unlimited PTO along with most U.S. federal government holidays.
  • Mental wellness is supported through quarterly health and wellness benefits.
  • Health insurance is comprehensive for employees and their families, with 100% coverage for employees.
  • The company supports retirement savings with a 4% 401(k) match.
  • Each year, there is a 4-day company offsite, with past locations including San Francisco, Nashville, Denver, Santa Fe, New Orleans, San Diego, Bozeman, and New York City.
  • As the culture and company continue to evolve, this role will help shape the next major or minor version.
