Role overview
ALEX AND ANI is hiring a Talent Acquisition Partner to support hiring across corporate and commercial teams. This position will work as a key partner to the Head of People and help expand recruiting capacity for the business. The company operates with the pace and adaptability of a startup while being a recognized jewelry brand. This is the first in-house recruiting role dedicated to this need.
Work location and employment details
This is a full-time, exempt position based remotely in the US, with working hours aligned to EST. The role reports to the Head of People.
Key responsibilities
- Run end-to-end recruitment, starting with intake and continuing through offer acceptance and onboarding.
- Recruit for a broad mix of roles across People, Finance, Operations, Strategy, Marketing, Creative, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Ecommerce, Partnerships, Wholesale, and other revenue-focused functions.
- Work closely with hiring managers as a strategic advisor on hiring choices, market trends, and candidate alignment.
- Balance inbound applications with proactive outreach to build strong and intentional talent pipelines.
- Screen candidates and guide them through a structured, high-touch interview experience.
- Keep the ATS updated accurately and maintain reliable recruiting data and metrics.
- Contribute to employer brand efforts, recruiting process enhancements, career branding, and talent marketing.
- Assess and trial AI-supported recruiting tools, sourcing platforms, and modern hiring technologies to improve efficiency and candidate discovery.
- Coordinate tightly with the Head of People and hiring managers so the hiring process stays aligned from attraction through onboarding.
Required background and strengths
- At least 2 to 4+ years of recruiting experience, including 1 to 2+ years in an in-house role within a fast-moving environment.
- Ability to manage both high application volume and proactive sourcing with sound prioritization and judgment.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and engage passive candidates while building pipelines across multiple functions.
- Experience advising hiring managers and using market data to influence hiring decisions.
- Strong organization skills and careful attention to detail, especially in ATS data management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the flexibility to work across different leadership styles and personalities.
- Comfort operating amid ambiguity and changing priorities.
- Hands-on interest in modern sourcing tools and AI-based recruiting platforms.
Preferred experience
- Exposure to HR, People Operations, or employee experience work is a plus.
- Background in retail, DTC, or e-commerce environments is advantageous.
