About the Company

Sophos is a global cybersecurity organization that protects more than 600,000 businesses and institutions with an AI-powered security platform supported by expert-led services. Its approach adapts to customers at different stages of security maturity, helping them strengthen defenses and respond to cyber threats more effectively. The company combines machine learning, automation, live threat intelligence, and the expertise of Sophos X-Ops to provide continuous monitoring, detection, and response.

The company’s portfolio includes managed detection and response (MDR), endpoint, network, email, and cloud security, as well as extended detection and response (XDR), identity threat detection and response (ITDR), next-gen SIEM, and advisory services. Sophos works through a worldwide partner network that includes MSPs, MSSPs, resellers, distributors, marketplace integrations, and cyber risk partners. Its headquarters are in Oxford, U.K.

Role Overview

This role is for a recruiter who goes beyond filling requisitions and takes real ownership of how hiring is run and improved. As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will lead end-to-end hiring for Go-to-Market roles such as Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, or for technical and corporate functions including Engineering, Finance, and HR. You will work closely with hiring managers across the Americas and EMEA in a fast-moving, globally distributed setting.

The position sits in a lean team and calls for a strong sense of urgency, independent judgment, and a business-minded approach to portfolio management. You will be responsible for outcomes, prioritization, data-driven decision-making, and proactive problem-solving rather than simply following process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the complete recruitment process, from intake discussions through offer acceptance and closure.
  • Handle a portfolio of open positions across the Americas and EMEA.
  • Create candidate pipelines through sourcing, partnerships, and market mapping.
  • Ensure candidates receive a smooth and high-quality hiring experience.
  • Work closely with hiring managers and lead effective intake and calibration meetings.
  • Spot risks, misalignment, and blockers early, then drive practical solutions.
  • Track funnel metrics such as pipeline strength, conversion rates, and time to fill.
  • Keep momentum high across multiple searches running at the same time.
  • Find ways to improve hiring workflows, processes, and overall results.
  • Share and encourage best practices that strengthen the broader TA function.

Candidate Profile

You should bring at least 4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally with hiring exposure in GTM or technical roles. Experience recruiting across the Americas and/or EMEA is important, and a background in SaaS or another high-growth environment is preferred.

Success in this role also depends on strong stakeholder management, the ability to influence and challenge thoughtfully, and the confidence to work with minimal direction. You should be comfortable navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, remote collaboration, and fast-paced delivery while maintaining quality.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this position in Canada is CAD 98,000 to CAD 163,000 per year. In addition to base pay, the role includes bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package. Actual pay will depend on factors such as skills, training, location, experience, education, certifications, and broader business needs.

Work Model and Eligibility

This is a remote-first role, though some positions in the company may require a hybrid setup. Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the jurisdiction where the job is posted and must not need employer sponsorship.

Additional Information

Sophos encourages people to apply even if they do not meet every listed requirement. The company values diverse perspectives and believes different experiences can strengthen the team.

The organization promotes inclusion through employee-led networks, charitable and volunteer activities, sustainability initiatives, fitness and trivia events, wellbeing days, and monthly wellbeing webinars and training.

Sophos is committed to equal opportunity and fair treatment regardless of gender, sex, gender reassignment, marital status, race, religion or belief, color, age, military veteran status, disability, pregnancy, maternity, or sexual orientation. Candidates may request adjustments during the recruitment process if needed.

Any CV or personal information shared with Sophos may be retained for 12 months in line with its privacy practices and may be used to contact candidates about this or other relevant opportunities. Sophos also notes that artificial intelligence tools may be used to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications or identifying inconsistencies, but final decisions are always made by people.
